Time to say Good bye to the lovely Egypt. You can leave from Luxor, the most popular airplane out of Luxor is Qatar Airways. If you can’t take it, then, you should head back to Cairo, for me, Qatar had connectivity and I did not need to go back to Cairo.

Have more time in your hand?

  • Head towards the beaches in Sharm El Sheikh or Marsa Alam.
  • A popular day trip from Aswan is Abu Simbel.
  • You can also take a cruise or felluca ride in the Nile from Aswan to Luxor or other way round. You should stop in the villages along your way and spend some time.
  • If you want to go to a desert then, Siwa oasis is the most popular one.
  • It’s easier to go to Alexandria from Cairo, you can take a train to go there.
